Deliverance Through Gentleness

In the modern church we find great diversity of belief regarding the demonic, from “it does not exist – a mediaeval idea”, to attributing to Satan and his hordes the cause of everything that goes wrong in our lives.

With these two extremes we end up giving the Enemy absolute freedom, or the credit for everything, implying he is more powerful to harm us than Christ is to heal us. Like many other areas of our lives, in dealing with spiritual reality, we need to find a balance.

What this Bible Note demonstrates is the Enemy is subject to Christ, and as such cannot move against us except in the areas of personal baggage and sin, where we allow him in through our choices.
