Celebrating the Small Steps: An Alternative Approach to Goal Setting

We welcome your suggestions and examples for future audios. So please email them through or include them on our forum (for members of our online community), or in the comments below. THANK YOU for taking the time to do this.

We are often encouraged to set goals – maybe for work or study, especially at New Year and perhaps for personal development. But is this really a constructive or creative process? If we try to achieve an unwise goal, something is of course going to go wrong. And if we take a helpful goal and implement it unwisely, we (and perhaps others) will get tripped up. Often our lives are littered with failed goals, other people’s ‘you should …’, or our own disappointment at missed opportunities.

In this audio we explore the advantages and risks of goal-setting and map out how to take regular steps to achievable and enjoyable goals – with plenty of opportunity to celebrate.

(This audio is available in a faith-based or non-faith-based versions.)
