Feelings get a bad rap! We hear more about anger, fear, and hate than we do about love, joy, and happiness. And most of us find that enjoyable feelings seem to evaporate quickly and unpleasant feelings seem to linger. Sometimes, all we can do is bury the feelings, just to be able to survive.
This audio presents a different perspective on emotion. We look at how emotion gets damaged and what healthy feelings look like. Susan’s shares some of her early experience of emotion and Peter sets out a new understanding of emotion that we can build on for the future.
