Dealing with our uphill struggles

I watched a blackbird walk purposefully up the hill and as it reached the top, it turned and crossed the road, before then flying up onto the wall and continuing its journey. It was arduous. All the while the gulls were flying overhead, gliding easily in the wind back and forth.

Sometimes life is an uphill struggle, perhaps in one area, perhaps in a number of areas. It’s a sadly common experience and many of us have seasons of our history that still make us shudder because of how hard they were.

Surely because this is such a familiar experience, we must all learn to respond to these challenges healthily, to know how to walk uphill well. In this audio, we make a series of suggestions that allow each of us to grow our own unique approach to uphill walking.
