Think of the various groups of people that you have interacted with during your life; family, school, employment, church, social groups. Each of these has an impact on who we are and who we become, especially in our early years. In this audio, we borrow a sociological concept to view these groups as various ‘audiences’ who participate in the narrative of our life. Their reactions shape our feelings, our choices, our behavior, our coping mechanisms, every aspect of our becoming.
One of the ways of growing in our healing and wholeness journey is to look at the audiences who have had an unwelcome but lasting impact. Naming that damage is the first step to being able to press into very significant healing.
